Job Summary

Tecta America Southern California, a commercial roofing contractor with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative for its Santa Ana, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Functions

  • Possess a passion for building client relationships and providing tailored solutions
  • Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking, and referrals
  • Follow up on direct mail campaigns
  • Schedule sales appointments with key decision-makers at prospective client companies
  • Develop rapport and build long-term business relationships with clients over the course of an extended sales cycle
  • Partner with clients to establish their needs
  • Present clients with the most appropriate solutions
  • Assemble proposals and reports for clients
  • Maintain all sales activity in the Tecta CRM program
  • Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met and to get referrals
  • Work with Service Manager to understand where/how to generate additional leads and referrals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and, when necessary, close deals
  • Manage service projects won through your efforts
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success in sales and a strong record of achievement and results
  • Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations
  • 3 years sales experience in roofing, construction, or a related field preferred (Not required)
  • Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone
  • Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
  • Solid verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle
  • Ability to travel locally out of the office 80% of the time
