Job Summary
Tecta America Southern California, a commercial roofing contractor with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative for its Santa Ana, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Functions
- Possess a passion for building client relationships and providing tailored solutions
- Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking, and referrals
- Follow up on direct mail campaigns
- Schedule sales appointments with key decision-makers at prospective client companies
- Develop rapport and build long-term business relationships with clients over the course of an extended sales cycle
- Partner with clients to establish their needs
- Present clients with the most appropriate solutions
- Assemble proposals and reports for clients
- Maintain all sales activity in the Tecta CRM program
- Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met and to get referrals
- Work with Service Manager to understand where/how to generate additional leads and referrals
- Develop and implement sales strategies and, when necessary, close deals
- Manage service projects won through your efforts
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success in sales and a strong record of achievement and results
- Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations
- 3 years sales experience in roofing, construction, or a related field preferred (Not required)
- Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone
- Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
- Solid verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel locally out of the office 80% of the time
