About the role

We are looking for experienced Commercial Lines & Personal Lines Loss Control Consultants to work independently as MIB, Inc. independent contractors.

Responsibilities

- Perform insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. - Assess conditions found during inspections. - Identify hazards that may lead to claims activity. - Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values for buildings and dwellings. - Communicate effectively with community members. - Possess basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Have previous inspection experience is helpful. - Use a PC, internet access, and digital camera.

- Self-motivated. - Reliable and organized. - Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Previous inspection experience is helpful. - Use a PC, internet access, and digital camera.

Qualifications

- Microsoft programs/Word proficiency required. - Previous experience preferred but not required.
