About the role

We are seeking experienced Commercial Lines & Personal Lines Loss Control Consultants as independent contractors to perform insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.

Responsibilities

- Assess conditions found during inspections. - Identify hazards that may lead to claims activity. - Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values. - Communicate effectively with community members. - Possess basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Have previous inspection experience is helpful. - Use a PC, internet access, and digital camera.

Requirements

- Self-motivated. - Reliable, organized, and able to meet and converse with people in the community. - Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Previous inspection experience is helpful. - Use a PC, internet access, and digital camera.

Qualifications

- Microsoft programs/Word proficiency required. - Previous experience preferred but not required.

Skills

- Communication skills. - Knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Ability to assess conditions and identify hazards.
