About the role

We are seeking experienced Commercial Lines & Personal Lines Loss Control Consultants as independent contractors to perform insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.

Responsibilities

- Assess conditions found during inspections. - Identify hazards that may lead to claims activity. - Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values. - Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

- Self-motivated. - Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Previous inspection experience is helpful. - Reliable, organized, and self-directed. - Access to a PC, internet, and digital camera.

Qualifications

- Microsoft programs/Word proficiency required. - No specific educational background required, but previous inspection experience is preferred.

Skills

- Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently. - Knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
