Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate agreements, including leases, purchase and sale contracts, joint venture agreements, and financing documents.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, zoning and land use issues, environmental matters, and risk management.
- Represent clients in negotiations with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, lenders, and other parties.
- Conduct legal research and provide timely and relevant advice to clients on complex commercial real estate matters.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Keep abreast of changes in commercial real estate laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 6–15 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on leasing, drafting, financing, purchase and sale, and joint ventures.
- Proven experience representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of commercial real estate laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- High level of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Pay
$250,000 – $300,000 per year.
