Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, zoning, and entitlements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts, leases, and retail development agreements.
- Conduct due diligence, title review, and survey review for real estate transactions.
- Prepare and negotiate financing transactions and loan documentation.
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including lease agreements, contract law, and property law.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal writing to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain strong client relations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Solve complex legal problems using analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Ensure legal compliance in all transactions and processes.
- Manage legal cases using legal software.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney.
- Proven experience in dispositions, real estate transactions, leasing, zoning, entitlements, construction, and loan documentation.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, commercial law, lease agreements, property law, and legal compliance.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract law.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and legal software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relations skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ethics and professionalism.
- Experience in legal case management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
