Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation
  • Aid in preparing and filing (including e-filing) of legal documents in state and federal court
  • Manage case files (create, organize, track, and maintain files; monitor calendars and meeting deadlines; document actions; input information into file database and case management software)
  • Handle document management including review, proofreading, bate labeling, organization of documents, and compilation of information for discovery responses, pleadings, and motions
  • Conduct factual research and investigations
  • Lead subpoena and third-party records retrieval efforts
  • Draft correspondence and memoranda for attorneys as requested
  • Familiarity with e-discovery, including technical aspects of collecting, reviewing, and producing electronically stored information (state and federal court)
  • Experience with Relativity, LiveNote, Case/Time Map, Summation, Adobe Acrobat, and Trial Director is a plus
  • Prepare for and attend trials (organize evidence, prepare exhibits, schedule witnesses, ensure witnesses are ready when needed)
  • Enter time in billing systems such as InTapp accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience
  • An associate’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
  • Experience handling Commercial litigation and trial experience preferred
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with team and clients
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills
  • Track record of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

About the Role

The firm offers a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote for all paralegals.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
