Responsibilities

  • Aid attorneys in all stages of litigation, including trials.
  • Prepare and file legal documents such as motions, discovery, and agreements in state and federal courts.
  • Coordinate service of state and federal subpoenas.
  • Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and others as needed.
  • Oversee and assist with the discovery process, including subpoenas, witness locating, scheduling depositions, and managing discovery requests.
  • Conduct factual research and investigations.
  • Manage case files, including organizing, tracking, and maintaining files; monitoring calendars and meeting deadlines; documenting actions; and inputting information into file databases and case management software.
  • Utilize computer databases to organize, store, and access information; conduct research using LEXIS, Westlaw, and other online databases.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of paralegal experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree and paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with fraud and medical treatment records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • The motivation and skill to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven computer/technology skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role

The firm offers a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote for all paralegals.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000, with actual compensation dependent on relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
