The Commercial Litigation Practice Group at QPWB represents a wide array of clients, including corporations, small businesses, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate will handle and manage complex commercial and business litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Handle and manage commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-suit investigations, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Provide legal advice on a wide variety of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, fraud, partnership disputes, trade secret and non-compete issues, and other corporate conflicts.
- Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and co-counsel to develop litigation strategies and manage expectations.
- Stay current on legal developments, case law, and procedural rules relevant to commercial litigation.
- Participate in firm-sponsored CLEs, client seminars, and business development activities.

What You’ll Bring
- Admitted to practice in the State of Colorado.
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, including courtroom experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
