Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience.
This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes business disputes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial or resolution
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct discovery, including depositions, written discovery, and e-discovery management
- Develop case strategy and advise clients on risk, exposure, and litigation outcomes
- Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Collaborate with partners and team members on case development and trial preparation
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, responsive service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the Florida Bar
- 5+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation (law firm experience required)
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Demonstrated experience handling sophisticated business disputes independently
- Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience required
- Trial experience or second-chair trial experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
