Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive new business opportunities.
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and other opportunities to build your professional network.
  • Gather detailed client information and collaborate with account managers to ensure accurate quoting and policy preparation.
  • Present insurance solutions to clients, educating them on policy details, coverage options, and potential risks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, policy changes, and carrier-specific guidelines to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person meetings to build trust and rapport with clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling commercial insurance.
  • Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and the ability to educate clients on coverage details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Calendar, and Excel, with strong typing and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable attending events outside of standard work hours.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with account managers and other team members.
  • Evidence of past production success is required to demonstrate your ability to deliver results.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
  • Commission: Competitive commission structure
