Responsibilities
- Attend all sales meetings, at the office and off-site
- Assist Brown & Brown teammates with assigned duties as learning experiences
- Become familiar with the Agency Management System
- Become familiar with Brown & Brown office procedures
- Successfully complete all educational courses or professional designation courses as may be required by the training program
- Be accountable to the department manager for attendance and work performance
- Develop relationships with insurance company underwriters
- Attend insurance company sponsored events as directed by manager
- Participate in new business prospecting (“cold calling”) exercises
- Develop knowledge of the “marketing” process
- Successfully complete “Brown & Brown University”
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
