We are Florida's premier residential construction law firm for homeowners. We handle construction disputes through all phases of pre-litigation and litigation in Florida state and Federal courts. We are growing very aggressively and seek an experienced Florida litigation paralegal (10+ years) to join our team. We need somebody who understands what happens at a trial or final arbitration hearing and has been there, so that they know what is required to succeed there and therefore know how to help build a case successfully.
About the role
- Experience with Florida Courts and knowledge of Florida legal procedure are required.
- Experience with Construction Law is a significant plus.
- Remote work option available.
Responsibilities
- Supports attorneys in preparing for trials and arbitrations.
- Organizes and manages legal documents and evidence.
- Coordinates with clients and opposing parties.
- Assists in drafting pleadings and other legal documents.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Florida legal procedures.
- Experience with Construction Law is a plus.
