Commercial Carpenter

About the role

Engelke is a rapidly growing General Contractor in Northeast Ohio seeking motivated carpenters to join their team. More than 90 percent of their projects are for repeat clients, and they are currently searching for candidates with outstanding attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2-3 years of carpentry experience
• Read and complete layout tasks
• Perform metal stud framing
• Show finish carpentry skills including drywall hanging and finishing
• Install metal doors and hardware
• Layout and install acoustical ceilings
• Must have the ability to operate tools and provide reliable transportation

Requirements

Candidates must have the ability to read plans and blueprints, possess finish carpentry skills, and have the ability to operate tools. Reliable transportation is also required.

Qualifications

Immediate availability for full-time positions, averaging 40-50 hours per week.

Skills

Strong carpentry skills, ability to read and interpret construction plans, and proficiency with common carpentry tools.
