Commercial Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, framing, millwork, FRP, and laminate installation according to project specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with layout and measurements under the direction of the Lead Carpenter.
• Help maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
• Execute assigned tasks with attention to detail and growing autonomy.
• Work closely with the Lead Carpenter and crew to meet daily production goals.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and material needs to field leadership.
• Support a positive team environment and contribute to a culture of craftsmanship and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on carpentry experience in commercial or retail construction.
• Previous Experience working in Wal-Marts, Vons, Albertsons, Safeway, CVS etc. is a PLUS.
• Familiarity with demolition, framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations.
• Experience working on active job sites with multiple trades and tight schedules.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and layout plans.
• Experience working on active job sites with multiple trades and tight schedules.
• Able to lift and carry materials or equipment of up to 75 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights as needed.
• Able to work 90% Nights.
• Able to Travel.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Experience in Commercial Door Hanging is a plus.
• Experience in Commercial Steel Stud Framing is a plus.
