Commercial Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to project requirements.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks, including trim work, cabinetry, and installation of doors, stairs, and windows.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project efficiency and timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on framing and finish carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
