About the role
The position is 100% in-office and located at a WesBanco location in Knoxville, TN, with consideration for the Knoxville LPO.
Responsibilities
- Manage borrowing and depository relationships with commercial clients, focusing on Lending
- Solicit new commercial clients through direct sales calls
- Develop community and business relationships to facilitate sales referrals and maintain knowledge of local business conditions
- Support the Bank’s CRA lending initiatives
- Provide customer service, interpersonal skills, and clear communication
- Originate and manage lending and deposit relationships with commercial customers
- Maintain and effectively manage an individual commercial portfolio
- Analyze financial statements and customer profiles to support customer needs
- Work with other bank departments to manage the credit process
- Train, oversee, and mentor administrative assistants
- Work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with the Special Asset Unit for loan collections and credit workout
- Participate in community and civic organizations
- Cross-sell banking services to existing and prospective commercial customers
- Assist with CRA lending initiatives within the corporate lending department
- Support the bank’s sales culture
- Originates, develops, and maintains relationships with commercial customers
- Provide loan structures and ensure appropriate documentation
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures
- Generate new business opportunities through outside business development sales calls
- Follow up on internal and external customer referrals
- Manage the sales of assigned accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university
- 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience including management of Commercial Real Estate relationships
- Proficiency in bank policies and procedures, adherence to laws, rules, and regulations
- Completion of assigned compliance training
- Willingness to promote bank products and services
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Leadership and business relationship development skills
- Ability to work under pressure
