Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and make sound decisions to investigate, evaluate, and resolve first- and third-party, bodily injury, and litigated claims.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors throughout the claims process.
• Manage multiple assignments efficiently, documenting all claim activity to support file outcomes.
• Settle claims within assigned authority and escalate higher-exposure claims to the Claims Manager as appropriate.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant claims adjusting experience, preferably in auto or commercial insurance. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Knowledge of insurance claims systems and processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience with data entry and report writing.
