Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between. Responsibilities Active participation in back-end development efforts in building a robust ecommerce platformDesign and implement RESTful API’s using proven design principles and patternsDesign and develop utility functions and cross cuttng modulesWork in an Agile/Scrum, test driven development environmentDevelop unit and functional tests for the code developedCollaborate with multiple cross functional teams Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Informa on Systems, or closely related field and 1-2 years of related work experience Good understanding of OO principles, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with Java, JEE technologies, Spring, and related frameworksKnowledge of SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge in Asynchronous messaging and event driven architecturesExperience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Chef etc.) is a plusExperience with containeriza on/orchestra on technologies is a plus2+ years of experience in building back-end systems1+ years of experience in building scalable RESTful API’sExposure to cloud environment using AWS or Azure or Google Cloud platforms The salary range for this role is $66,300 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
