About the role

The CCTV Operator at Shoreline Amphitheatre will act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls during concerts. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, logging incident reports, monitoring CCTV, and communicating pertinent information to staff.

Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Log incident reports via OnTrack system.
• Maintain a log of all incidents that occur during each event.
• Investigate and resolve complaints via venue CCTV.
• Monitor venue activity and inform department heads of potential deployment changes.
• Communicate pertinent information to the staff at pre-show meetings.
• Receive and address emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Prioritize radio calls according to urgency and importance.
• Maintain logs and records of radio calls, activities, and other information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with CCTV software is strongly preferred.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers and develop strong working relationships across all departments.
• Ability to observe visitors, patrons, and employees via CCTV to preserve order and protect property.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to emergencies.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and software.

Pay

This position is part-time, seasonal; requires evening and weekend availability. The expected compensation for this position is $19.70 USD - $23.00 USD per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
