COM Clerk 061202

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct receiving activities of COM
• Inspect COM fabric for flaws (must be able to lift 50 lb. fabric bolts)
• Document material flaws by completing necessary forms and uploading to systems
• Determine if flaws can be worked around
• Data entry (edit orders, release orders, and add notes)
• Aid production and customer service with COM issues
• Be willing to cross train within the department
• Interact with dealers and suppliers regarding COM fabric issues
• Participate in team improvement initiatives
• Communicate inspection findings to production, engineering, and quality teams
• Participate in internal audits and support customer or third-party inspections
• Assist with quality implementation of control procedures and continuous improvement activities (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer Service experience a plus
• Extensive knowledge of Fabric (seamstress preferred)
• Strong written, oral communication skills
• Basic math and basic computer skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail

Pay and Schedule

Pay is $16.50 per hour. Shift is 6:00am- 2:30pm
