About the role
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a nationally recognized leader in patient care, research, and education, is seeking two Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Colorectal Surgeons to join its distinguished faculty.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered colorectal surgical care
- Perform a full spectrum of procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, and pathology
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in clinical research, scholarly activity, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to program development and institutional growth
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency and Colorectal Surgery fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California
Qualifications
- Assistant Professor: Early-career surgeon or recent fellowship graduate
- Assistant Professor: Demonstrated interest in teaching and/or clinical research
- Assistant Professor: Potential for academic growth and scholarly contribution
- Associate Professor: Established clinician with several years of post-fellowship experience
- Associate Professor: Proven track record of clinical excellence and academic productivity
- Associate Professor: Experience in teaching, mentorship, and program development
- Associate Professor: Demonstrated leadership or contributions to institutional or national initiatives preferred
