Colorectal Surgery Clinical Faculty

About the role

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a nationally recognized leader in patient care, research, and education, is seeking two Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Colorectal Surgeons to join its distinguished faculty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered colorectal surgical care
• Perform a full spectrum of procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic techniques
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, and pathology
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research, scholarly activity, and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to program development and institutional growth

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency and Colorectal Surgery fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California

Qualifications

• Assistant Professor: Early-career surgeon or recent fellowship graduate
• Assistant Professor: Demonstrated interest in teaching and/or clinical research
• Assistant Professor: Potential for academic growth and scholarly contribution
• Associate Professor: Established clinician with several years of post-fellowship experience
• Associate Professor: Proven track record of clinical excellence and academic productivity
• Associate Professor: Experience in teaching, mentorship, and program development
• Associate Professor: Demonstrated leadership or contributions to institutional or national initiatives preferred

Pay

Total Cash Compensation: $400,000 – 740,000
