The Department of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Colorectal Surgeon. This position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing colorectal surgery services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician for inpatient colorectal surgery care services
• Provide consultation, treatment, and follow-up for colorectal surgery patients
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
• Engage in clinical and basic science research, as well as participate in clinical trials that promote advancements in colorectal surgery
