Responsibilities
- Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for body shop repair or painting.
- Serves vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
- Washes and dries vehicles.
- Colorsandsandbuffbothoriginalandnewlypaintedsurfacesasneeded.
- Appliesprotectivesealantandpolishtovehiclesafterworkhasbeencompletedonbodyofvehicle.
- Drivesvehiclestoandsfromserviceareasandlotasneeded.
- Deliversvehiclestocustomersincleanandundamagedcondition.
- Transportscustomerstoandfromtheirhomewhenneededandrequested.
- Ensuresthatrequireddocumentationiscompleteandcompliantwithregulationsandstandards.
- Followssafetyandsecurityprocedures.
- Performseveryotherdutysassigned.
Qualifications
- Musthaveatleast2years’experienceasanAutomotiveDetailerinacollision/bodyshop.
- HighschooldiplomaorGEDpreferred.
- UnrestrictedCaliforniadriver'slicenseandcleandrivingrecord.
- Abletodrivebothautomaticandstandard-transmissionvehicles.
- Abletosafelyoperatemotorvehiclesintightandsmallspaces.
- Highlyprofessionalanddependable.
- Excellentcommunication,customerfocusedwithabilitytoproblem-solvingandmaintaincomposureunderstress.
- Basiccomputerandinternetskills.
- Abletoworkinfast-pacedenvironmentanddetailoriented.
- Mustbeateamplayerwithstrongsenseofcommitmenttothecustomerandteammembers.
- Mustbeself-motivatedwithgoodwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
