Collision Center Estimator / Assistant Manager
What You’ll Do
- Collision Estimating Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess vehicle damage in a professional, customer-focused manner
- Write accurate repair estimates using CCC One (or similar software)
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and customers for approvals and supplements
- Cook up coordination with parts and repair teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain thorough documentation, including photos and repair authorizations
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and assist in vehicle delivery
- Assistant Manager Responsibilities
- Support the Collision Center Manager in daily operations and team leadership
- Supervise and motivate technicians, estimators, and support staff
- Aid in estimate writing, supplements, final billing, and job scheduling
- Maintain DRP compliance and insurer communications
- Ensure timely, high-quality repairs and strong customer satisfaction scores
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Help enforce shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Open to candidates at different stages in their collision repair careers
- Whether you're an experienced estimator or looking to step into a leadership role, we'd love to hear from you
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in collision estimating or auto body repair
- Experience with CCC One (preferred) or other estimating software
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of repair procedures and industry terminology
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in collision operations, with 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role
- I-CAR certification or willingness to become certified
- DRP experience and insurer relationship management
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus
