Collision Repair Detailer

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes
• Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
• Apply revitalizer and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals
• Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials, utilizing experience and following product manufacturer recommendations
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents
• Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle
• Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid in-state driver's license
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information
• Excellent manual dexterity skills and patience
• An eye for detail
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
