College Intern - Summer 2027 - Cyber Risk Management

About the role

The Summer College Internship Program is a 10‑week paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of the company. College interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. Through the program, interns can attend development workshops focused on key business concepts. Interns may work within skills‑based tracks such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non‑technical and/or technical degree programs. This is a paid 10‑week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours per week). Interns may reside in either a technical or non‑technical area. Development workshops are provided to help with the transition from school to the corporate environment. Housing is not provided as part of the program.

Responsibilities

• Support advancing Cyber Risk Management through creativity and development of Risk Indicators, early warning indicators, and cyber maturity.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
• Perform a mix of technical and/or non‑technical tasks covering a broad range of business‑related projects.
• Create and deliver presentations at the completion of the internship.
• Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and upholding the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.
• Maintain confidentiality and protection of member privacy in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.

Requirements

Desired Majors/Degree Programs Include: Computing Sciences & Information Technology (i.e. Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Networking, Cybersecurity, etc.), Risk Management, Data Analytics or similar program(s). Preferred (but not required) experience with: Ability to work with Excel, good understanding of Risk Capabilities and scoring concepts, strong aptitude to understand root cause and impacts of risks. High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate or graduate degree program). Must be in good academic standing.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Compensation Range: Level I – Minimum $18.00 – Maximum $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

10‑week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week.
