College Intern - IT Administration - Fall 2026
Fall 2026 paid internship for undergraduate and graduate students in Information Technology, Business Administration, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and related degree programs. Interns work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, attend development workshops, and deliver a final presentation. Housing is not provided.
About the role
The intern will administer Salesforce environments (Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud), perform user management, optimize system configurations, develop administrative reports, and document processes. Exposure to data platforms such as Databricks and Power BI is likely. Responsibilities vary by business need and may include both technical and non-technical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Administer Salesforce environments, including user management and system configuration optimization.
- Develop administrative reports and document processes.
- Support key strategic projects under mentor guidance.
- Perform varied work assignments based on business needs and departmental opportunities.
- Create and deliver a presentation at the completion of the internship.
- Adhere to company mission, values, and privacy policies.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program (majors: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related fields).
- High school diploma and proof of continuous college enrollment.
- Good academic standing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork, multitasking, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop computers in a professional setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
- IT systems knowledge.
- Report development experience.
- IT security or troubleshooting/helpdesk experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation for three or more hours at a time, using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone.
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings or trainings as needed.
Pay
- Level I: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
- Level II: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
Actual salary will vary based on budget, experience, knowledge, skills, education, and internal equity. The total rewards package includes group health/dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time off, and paid holidays.
