College Intern - IT Administration - Fall 2026
Fall 2026 paid internship for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, attend development workshops, and deliver a final presentation. Open to students in Information Technology, Business Administration, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and related degree programs.
About the role
This internship may reside in either a technical or non-technical area. Specific duties will vary by assignment; the following are examples for a Salesforce-focused internship:
- Administer Salesforce environments, including Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Perform user management activities, system configuration optimization, and administrative report development.
- Document processes and gain exposure to data platforms such as Databricks and Power BI.
- Work with a mentor on key strategic projects.
- Support varied work assignments based on business needs and departmental opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma and continuous full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (desired majors: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology).
- Good academic standing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to build good working relationships with peers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility.
- Commitment to continuous skill improvement and team functioning.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams.
Skills
- Preferred experience with IT systems knowledge, report development, IT security, and IT troubleshooting/helpdesk.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation, using a computer and peripherals for three or more hours at a time.
- Ability to travel across the service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.
Pay
- Level I: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
- Level II: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Actual salary will vary based on budget, experience, knowledge, skills, education, and internal equity. The total rewards package also includes group health/dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time off, and paid holidays.
