About the role

Branch managers build the foundation of the Coldwell Banker network, the nation’s No. 1 residential real estate brokerage for 21 years. As a branch manager, you will lead and run Coldwell Banker’s local brokerage office, responsible for everything from recruiting and developing real estate agents to driving revenue, backed by the latest technology.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an inspiring motivator, attracting associates and leading teams to success by demonstrating high energy and fostering a growing residential real estate office driven by a culture of awesomeness.
  • Serve as a strong communicator, artfully articulating Coldwell Banker’s and the local office’s value proposition to attract and retain agents.
  • Optimally run the branch’s operations, including hiring, developing, and rewarding top talent; establishing and supervising office expenses and budgets; and managing profit and loss to achieve annual profitability targets.
  • Collaborate as a teammate, aligning with and executing the company’s strategy to drive growth, increase market share, and expand brand recognition.
  • Drive growth by ensuring associates have the tools they need and are trained to use them, while endorsing and encouraging preferred services such as mortgage, title, and home warranty.
  • Demonstrate ethical leadership, ensuring a strong reputation in the community and compliance with legal and transactional requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of sales experience in all aspects of residential real estate transactions.
  • Active local real estate or broker’s license, with knowledge of real estate laws, contracts, and procedures.
  • Proven management success, including recruiting, training, and encouraging high-performing teams.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, with awareness of current technology and willingness to adopt new tools to drive growth.
  • Contagious passion and a hard-working desire to grow your career while attracting and encouraging associates to do the same.
  • Influential communicator with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office, internet, and media sites.
