Position Summary
TourtoTeach leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. They provide feedback, communicate with all levels of associates, introduce and lead company change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide business solutions.
What you'll do...
- Teaches and trains teams effectively.
- Collaborates with associates to manage store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Models exceptional customer service standards and follows the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Develops and implements action plans to improve merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Reviews and evaluates Profit & Loss (PL) statements, manages budgets, forecasts, and controls expenses.
- Supervises and develops hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, and supports the Open Door Policy.
- Respects individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
- Works collaboratively, builds strong relationships, communicates with impact, and motivates and influences others.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college;
- 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience;
- 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Additional Information
- The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46*.
- This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
