Position Summary

TourToTeach, driving financial performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supervising and developing associates.

What you'll do...

  • Teaches training and actively listens to associates, providing feedback and introducing company change efforts.
  • Collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and develops action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements, manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintains and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Serves as a supervisor and development opportunity provider for hourly associates.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Respects individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
