About the Role
This role is located in Lima, Ohio and is fully on-site. The CNC Production Operator will operate CNC lathes and mills, interpret parts prints, use manual gauging, and meet production rates and quality standards. Training is provided for qualified individuals.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
- Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
- Follow and maintain quality control procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of CNC experience.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay
Starting pay: $25.32 per hour.
Pay schedule: Weekly.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (training period: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
