CNC OPERATOR MANUFACTURING

About the Role

Join Grothouse, Inc., a premier Wood Surface and Furniture Design and Manufacturing company based in the Lehigh Valley. We manufacture the highest quality solid wood countertops, desktops, bar tops, and tables in the world. As a CNC Manufacturing Operator, you'll contribute to creating luxury wood products and see projects completed right before your eyes every day.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
• Identify needs and efficiency improvements in production to maintain and improve quality and process improvement
• Develop and document standard operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers about project details
• Use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and 3D CAD/CAM software
• Interpret drawings and drafting
• Repeatedly lift heavy objects with or without assistance

Requirements

• Basic or advanced 3D CAD/CAM experience
• Advanced understanding of drawings and drafting
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Mastercam or other machining software (a plus)
• Experience in CNC machining (a plus)
• Experience in countertops, woodworking, and/or home décor (a plus but not required)
• Willingness to learn and dedication
• Basic skills in 3D parametric CAD such as Solidworks or Inventor (training provided)

Pay

$24.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on capability and contribution
