Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machining: Efficiently operate a lathe, swiss lathe, wire EDM, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill to machine parts.
- CNC Setup and Operation: Follow a setup sheet or look at a program on CAM and set up a job. Evaluate a part and come up with a plan to effectively make it.
- Experience with HAAS, TRAK, or Heidenhain is a plus.
- Inspiring tool and machine offsets to make sure the parts are correct.
- Cutting tool and toolpath knowledge: You may be given the opportunity to push the limits of current cutting tool technology.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, height gauges, etc.).
- Assist in developing and documenting repeatable processes for transition to production.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training in precision machining highly desirable.
- Prior experience operating and setting up CNC Mills or Lathes (CNC lathe, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill).
- CNC Programming experience preferred (BUT NOT NECESSARY).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.
- Proficient in measurement tool usage (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, etc.).
- Detail oriented, meticulous and focus on quality.
- Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and accept mentorship.
- A "safety first" commitment to maintaining a secure and clean machine shop environment.

Schedule
- First & Second Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 12:00am (15% shift differential)
- Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
