About the role
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, primarily on weekends from 08:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The role involves providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, grooming, and mouth care
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals according to client preferences and dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging clients in activities
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in patient condition, and documenting tasks via EVV system
- Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
- Following the Plan of Care strictly, without administering medications
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care
The position requires travel within a specified area, flexibility based on caseload, and physical endurance to handle diverse patient needs and environments.
