About the role
Parker Health Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Parker at Monroe, a state-of-the-art community providing high-quality nursing care in a warm and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
- Provide medication assistance and ensure residents take medications correctly.
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
- Participate in scheduled rounds and report observations to the nursing staff.
- Support residents in engaging in activities that promote their well-being and social interaction.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner.
- Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
$22.90 - $31.53 hourly rate (depending on experience).
Schedule
(7:00am - 3:00pm), (3) days per week, including every other weekend.
