CNA Home Health Aide

Primary Responsibilities

• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including peri care and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair.
• Care of patients on bedpan, commode and toilet.
• Reports observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• Absorbs and assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
• Functions in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

Required Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• MO: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. If not a CNA, must complete the Missouri Written Aide Competency Exam and Basic Skills Test.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

• The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $25.05 per hour based on full-time employment.
