About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team. As a CNA/HHA at Family Life care, you will play a vital role in helping our patients by providing compassionate and professional care in the comfort of their own home. You will have the opportunity to choose from various assignments, such as long-term care or assisting with recovery from an injury or illness. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
• Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing everyday light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting cognitive engagement.

Requirements

• Current Florida CNA license or 75‑hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a school approved through the State of Florida.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
• Current TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Education & Awareness | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
• Working smartphone.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.
