About the role

Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a CNA Field to provide exceptional care in Pinellas.

Responsibilities

• Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Care of the patient, including basic personal care and household tasks.
• Educates the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning, and daily living.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License (optional, depending on transportation choice).
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday 6a-2p.

Skills

• Caring and motivated personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic personal care tasks.
• Knowledge of patient positioning and daily living assistance.
