About the role

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional care in Southwest Florida.

Responsibilities

• Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis.
• Performs only those personal care/home maintenance activities contained in a written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care) by a health professional employee.
• Navigates and reports unusual conditions, incidents, or behavior of a patient and/or patient/family interaction to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Maintains utmost respect for confidentiality in care of the patient/family.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred.

Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8a-5p; Manatee County and North Sarasota.
