NETA Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Drive daily locally/regionally and be available for periodic overnight travel.
• Qualify for NETA certification (I, II, III or IV) or similar.
• Perform switchgear testing & troubleshooting with at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Use good PC skills including email, internet, data entry, and Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerDB is a plus.
• Work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
• Have OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training; training can be provided by Shermco.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly.
• Pass a fit for duty physical exam when required.
• Pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
• Pass an acceptable pre-employment criminal background check.
• Be physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk, and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.
• Willing to travel; minimum 40%.

• Physically fit to work in confined spaces.
• Physically fit to work in extreme temperatures.

Pay

USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
