About the role
Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a CNA Field to provide exceptional care in Pinellas.
Responsibilities
- Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Care of the patient, including basic personal care and household tasks.
- Educates the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning, and daily living.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
- Valid Florida State Driver’s License (optional, depending on transportation choice).
- One to Three Years of training and/or experience required.
- One year of experience in a long term care facility strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday 6a-2p.
Skills
- Caring and motivated personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic personal care tasks.
- Knowledge of patient positioning and daily living assistance.
