About the role
Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA Field to work in North Hillsborough County.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care and tasks related to the activities of daily living.
- Responds sensitively to patient/family needs by observing and reporting any changes, including physical, spiritual, social and emotional, to a registered nurse.
- Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides personal and basic medical care services within the plan of care for patients within the CNA scope of practice and to enhance patient and family comfort.
Requirements
- Experience: One to three months and/or training preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
- Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
