CNA- Cardiac Stepdown - Full Time - Days
About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs duties necessary to provide the best in patient care, but not to the extent requiring service and judgment of a registered or licensed nurse. This individual provides and maintains a clean, safe and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment. The CNA promotes the practice of family-centered care. He/she provides supportive care to patients in all units with adequate supervision and cross training.
Responsibilities
- Provides and maintains a clean, safe and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment.
- Promotes the practice of family-centered care.
- Provides supportive care to patients in all units with adequate supervision and cross training.
- Works cooperatively with the medical staff and other hospital staff who support the care of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required.
- Completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training which prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements.
- One year of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
- BCLS certified.
Skills
- Ability to perform basic patient care tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Pay
Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job.
Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
