About the role
The Sr. Manager of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of data center mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. They will manage teams responsible for hardware and network device installations, repairs, and decommissioning. They will lead, coach, and develop teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure operational performance goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational performance in areas of safety, security, availability, capacity, people/ID&E, and cost in all data centers.
- Lead the execution of infrastructure operations support for new cluster launches, data center launches, and expansions.
- Propose and comply with agreed operational performance goals.
- Support physical security safeguarding of people, assets, and customer data.
- Manage operations budgeting and capital expenditures and operating expenses.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
Requirements
- Experience managing large, complex programs.
- Proven leadership in building and leading large geographically dispersed teams.
- Willingness to travel to data centers in Culpeper, Warrenton, and Alexandria.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Ability to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay
$153,200.00 - $254,500.00 annually
