About the role
We are looking for an energetic, passionate, confident, and skilled person to work in an environment that makes a difference and is different every day. In this role, the Food Services / Culinary Unit Coordinator is responsible for engaging Clubhouse participants in the work of the Clubhouse. Work side-by-side with participants while coordinating various activities and projects which includes cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner, menu planning, tracking the food budget, maintaining all town/state health code requirements, planning and coordinating social events/parties, and health and wellness activities.
Clubhouses are unique locations that offer individuals with mental health challenges a vibrant, fun, and engaging environment. Clubhouses help people move forward in their mental health recovery journey. This role requires great flexibility as you will work one-on-one and in groups. Our ideal team member would be passionate about food and sharing this with others, with an opportunity to engage program participants in social and event planning, health and wellness activities, and assisting in other unit tasks related to food services.
Responsibilities
- Engage Clubhouse participants in daily work and activities
- Cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- Plan menus and track the food budget
- Maintain all town/state health code requirements
- Plan and coordinate social events and parties
- Organize health and wellness activities
- Assist in other unit tasks related to food services
Requirements
- Driver’s license and reliable car to transport members during the day
- BA/BS and/or relevant experience preferred
- Clubhouse experience, community-based programs, or Recovery Learning Community a plus
- Individuals with a lived experience of mental health challenges are encouraged to apply
Schedule
Full Time, 40 hours with occasional evenings and holidays. Tuesday through Saturday.

$21.37/hour
