Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities

• Maintain all CEUs required to keep your state license valid.
• Work in collaboration with the front office to complete intakes to help assign which therapist in our office is the best fit for the client.
• Complete therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families.
• Develop your own therapy caseload with the specific populations that you enjoy serving.
• Complete reports, client notes, treatment plans, safety plans, or continuity of care.
• A few after-school/after-work/weekend hours a week will help create a solid caseload.
• Client sessions are either in-office at one of our physical locations in The Woodlands, Conroe, or Huntsville, TX. We use telehealth as a convenience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's Degree in a related mental health field, or higher degree.
• Texas license as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Starts at $60,000; Associates or Provisionally Licensed start at $45,000.
• Maintain all CEUs required to keep your state license valid.
• Working with a diversified age and client population will determine the full-time or part-time caseload.
• Additional certifications or experience are a plus!
• Play Therapy, Directive Play Therapy, EMDR, DBT, etc.
