About the role

Mentor South Bay provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. For over 35 years, we've provided a collaborative, team-based approach dedicated to helping children, adults, and families reach their fullest potential. Join a mission-driven team providing trauma-informed mental health services to youth in foster care and the families who support them. In this role, you'll deliver home- and community-based counseling services focused on emotional healing, placement stability, and long-term family success.

What You'll Do

  • Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families of all ages — from young children and adolescents to adults and geriatrics
  • Manage a diverse caseload (25 billable hours weekly) that may include trauma, co-occurring disorders, addictions, anxiety, depression, and more
  • Deliver services in-office, via telehealth, and in community settings such as schools, shelters, residential programs, and individuals' homes
  • Expand access for underserved populations by reducing barriers, preventing missed appointments, and building trust in natural environments

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work (LCSW), or related field
  • Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting
  • Licensed or license-eligible in MA
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach

Compensation

  • Unlicensed Clinicians: $60,000 annually + monthly productivity bonus opportunity
  • Licensed Clinicians: $65,000 annually + monthly incentive bonus opportunity
